What’s New for 2026?
The body shape of the A6 has been re-imagined for 2026, with sleeker headlights and new side air intakes for more advanced airflow design and greater aerodynamics. Inside, the technology suite has been revamped, with larger digital displays that now cover the dashboard. A greater focus on safety means that more driver assistance technologies are now standard, including adaptive cruise control and an emergency brake assistant. Ride quality is further improved for 2026 thanks to enhanced sound insulation. Optimized door seals and windows, as well as a tailgate seal, cut down on wind noise, improving sound insulation by as much as 30 percent versus the outgoing A6 model.
Real World Performance
Performance is a passion for Audi, and they’ve stepped up with the 2026 A6. The all-new sedan comes packed with a 3.0L TFSI six-cylinder engine as standard. Paired to a 7-Speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission, it creates an impressive 362 horsepower.
Optional technologies elevate the 2026 A6’s performance even more. The available all-wheel-drive quattro ultra system maximizes efficiency by flexibly distributing torque. Available adaptive air suspension alters body height to create greater shock absorption. In normal mode, the adaptive air suspension lowers the vehicle by 20 millimeters compared to the standard suspension, while dynamic mode lowers it another 10 millimeters for an even greater, sportier connection to the road. Available all-wheel steering also increases handling precision for better maneuvering, both at low speeds and at higher speeds.
The 2026 Audi A6 comes standard with 19-inch alloy wheels with all-season run-flat tires, although there are optional 20-inch alloy wheels with all-season run-flat tires, as well as available 21-inch alloy wheels with summer tires.
